Crews from the Jackson Fire Department have been training on their new ladder truck.
The state-of-the-art truck can extend 95 feet, reaching the seventh floor of a building. This will be very useful for high rise rescues and hard-to-reach fires.
City employees recently got a close look at the new truck. City Public Information Officer Aaron Dimick got a view from the platform up in the air.
"Tower 8" is expected to be in service next month.
