Here’s what happened at the Jackson City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 29th, 2019.
It was a quick meeting with a short agenda, lasting under 30 minutes.
The most notable action item on the agenda was awarding a rehabilitation contract.
It received a unanimous vote from the council.
This allows the city to use federal funds to rehabilitate and control lead paint hazards in a family’s home on the city’s northeast side.
The council also appointed a new member to the Historic District Commission.
The next city council meeting is happening Tuesday, November 12th.
