Be Counted in the 2020 U.S. Census!

census 2

The City if Jackson is inviting its residents to participate in the 2020 U.S. Census. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the important work of the 2020 U.S. Census continues. Thankfully, this is something you and your family can do from the safety of your home.

Over the past couple weeks, census forms have been mailed to residents all over our city. The information about your family, and who’s living in your home, is very important to Jackson. Census numbers are used to determine Michigan’s representation in Congress and how much funding Jackson will receive from the federal government for important projects and programs in our community.

Please follow the directions on the form. You can fill out a form and mail it back, call a phone line, or use your device to submit online. It’s very easy to fill out, and will only take about 10 minutes complete. The details you provide in the Census are confidential, and cannot be used against you by any government agency or court.

Thank you for taking time to fill out the Census, and making Jackson a great place to live. You can find out more about the Census by visiting the official Census website.
