About Parks and Recreation in Jackson
The City of Jackson’s 28 beautiful city parks, trail system, recreation programs and cemeteries are managed by the Parks and Recreation Department. It is responsible for the oversight and maintenance of all outdoor activities, facilities and land areas located within our community. With more than 100,000 people annually partaking in recreational offerings of our city, the department’s role is increasingly vital to the prosperity of the Jackson community.
