MOST PROGRAMS ARE HELD AT THE BOOS CENTER* AS LISTED BELOW:
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
1st & 3rd Tuesdays - BINGO - 11:00 am to 1:30 pm
*Starting Mon., January 8, we're moving to the King Center, 1107 Adrian St., Jackson, due to construction at the Boos Center
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
Our program provides a broad range of year-round opportunities for adults 50 and older.
The $10.00* annual membership fee allows members to access: free, moderate-intensity exercise classes; Tai Chi ($5/class); Line Dance ($2/class); Yoga ($3/class); Lunch & Learn events; Worth-A-Try! events; twice monthly Bingo; self/group-led games; monthly luncheons at the Gene Davis Banquet Center; affordable and/or more adventurous worldwide travel opportunities; etc.

WAYS TO JOIN/RENEW:
1. Click on the following Annual Membership Form link, complete & submit with payment per the instructions: Annual Membership Form: '23 - '24
2. Visit the Boos Recreation Center in Loomis Park, located between Ganson St & Michigan Ave, one block east of the hospital, Mon/Wed/Fri, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Outside of these hours, the building is closed.
3. Visit the Jackson Recreation Dept., 5th Floor of City Hall, 161 W. Michigan Ave., Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

SIT & STAY FIT - Instructor, Julie Weisbrod, included with membership - a seated, moderate-intensity cardio, strengthening & stretching program – Mon/Wed/Fri - 10:40am-11:30am
SLOW FLOW & YIN YOGA - Instructor, Carol Morrow, $3/class - 2nd & 4th Fridays, 9:30am-10:30am
BEGINNING LINE DANCE - Instructor, Tony Vafiadis, $2/class - Mondays, 12:15pm-1:00pm
TAI CHI - Instructor, Ken Mangus, $5/class - Fridays, 12:15pm-1:00pm
WALK THIS WAY: self-led walking inside/outside the Boos Center - Mon/Wed/Fri, 9:30a - 10:30a (inside) - or at your convenience (outside)
SOCIAL EVENTS:
BOOS CENTER BINGO - Held the1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month; Caller starts at noon. Admission fee is $2; extra cards are 8 for $1. Free refreshments.
FUN & GAMES - Self or Group-lead activities such as: Cards, Crosswords, Sudoku, Brain Teasers, Jigsaw puzzles, board games, coloring, etc. in the Boos Center – Mon & Fri – 9:00 am – 11:00 am. Supplies provided.
MONTHLY LUNCHEONS* - $12 - Enjoy great food, fun and friendship at the Gene Davis Banquet Center the 2nd Tuesday of each month – Doors open at 10:45 am; Buffet starts at 12:00 pm.
*PLEASE NOTE: The next month's tickets go on sale at the current month's luncheon event. Thereafter, sales are done at the Boos Rec Center during the program hours stated above.
