This loan is used to repair current and developing City Code violations in owner-occupied properties with no more than 2 units.

Only applicants whose household income is less than 80% of area median income are eligible, as defined by the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The federal government requires the elimination of lead hazards in properties repaired with these loans. The cost of eliminating lead hazards is treated as a forgivable loan with 20% of the cost forgiven each year over a 5-year period. The owner must use the home as their primary residence during this period.
