Jackson area residents looking to get connected to community resources have an upcoming opportunity. A Community Resource Expo hosted by Ward 5 City Councilmember Shalanda Hunt in partnership with City of Jackson Group Violence Intervention is happening Thursday, March 14, 1:00-4:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Jackson District Library - Carnegie Branch.
Residents attending the event will be able to get information about community resources and make connections with the following organizations:
- Community Action Agency
- Consumers Energy
- Michigan Works, Southeast
- Isiah’s Hub
- Save Our Youth
- Jackson Michigan Giving Back to the Community
- Michigan Department of Health and Human Services
- Southeastern Dispute Resolution Services
The event is free to attend. The JDL Carnegie Branch is located at 244 W. Michigan Avenue. The auditorium is located in the library’s lower level.
