N. West Avenue between Wildwood Avenue and W. Ganson Street will be closed Friday, May 10, 2024. Temporary signing will be in place to direct traffic around the work zone.
N. West between Wildwood and W. Ganson is being closed so that maintenance work can be performed on the bridge that crosses over the railroad. An epoxy overlay is being applied to the bridge surface to help with waterproofing and to extend the service life of the bridge.
During the closure, driveways between Wildwood and Ganson will remain open so that residents can access their homes and patrons can access businesses.
The maintenance work will be completed in a single day and N. West will be opened to traffic by the end of the day on Friday.
