Residents in Jackson’s Second Ward have an upcoming opportunity to meet with their City Council representative and learn the latest news from their neighborhood. City Councilmember Freddie Dancy is holding a neighborhood meeting for the Second Ward on Monday, Dec. 9 from 6-8 p.m. at the Boos Recreation Center.
Councilmember Dancy organized the meeting for residents to learn about recent police activity in the area, the City’s Home Rehabilitation Program, and efforts to replace lead service lines. This will also be a time for residents to ask questions and give feedback.
Ward 2 covers Jackson’s east side neighborhoods and the eastern half of Downtown Jackson. All residents are welcome to attend. The Boos Recreation Center is located at 210 Gilbert St. in Loomis Park.
