Residents in Jackson’s Second Ward have an upcoming opportunity to meet with their City Council representative and learn the latest news from their neighborhood. City Councilmember Freddie Dancy is holding a neighborhood meeting for the Second Ward on Monday, Nov. 13, 6:00 p.m. at Lily Missionary Baptist Church.
Councilmember Dancy organized the meeting for residents to learn about the City’s new 100 Homes Program, which is building new affordable homes on vacant lots, along with details about the City’s Home Rehabilitation Program.
Ward 2 covers Jackson’s east side neighborhoods and the eastern half of Downtown Jackson. All residents are welcome to attend. Lily Missionary Baptist Church is located at 1117 WG Wade Drive.
