Residents in Jackson’s Fifth Ward have an upcoming opportunity to meet with their City Council representative and learn the latest news from their neighborhood. City Councilmember
Christy May Davis is holding a neighborhood meeting for the Fifth Ward on Thursday, March 27 at Steve's Ranch.
Councilmember Davis organized the meeting for residents to learn about the Jackson Police Department's Group Violence Intervention Program and blight reduction efforts from the Community Development Department. Residents are welcome to come to Steve's Ranch for dinner on their own starting at 5 p.m., with the meeting business starting at 6:00 p.m.
Ward 5 covers the western half of Downtown Jackson and its surrounding neighborhoods. All residents are welcome to attend. Steve's Ranch is located at 311 W. Louis Glick Hwy.
