With the Nov. 3 General Election quickly approaching, the Michigan Secretary of State suggests turning your completed absentee ballot directly into your City Clerk's Office to make sure it is received in time to be counted in the Election.
Mail delays could prevent your ballot from reaching City Hall in time to be counted in the Nov. Election. Election submission deadlines are available through the Secretary of State's website.
There are three ways to submit completed absentee ballots at Jackson City Hall, which is located at 161 W. Michigan Ave. in Jackson.
- Use a drop box located outside the front entrance of Jackson City Hall.
- Submit the ballot in-person in the City Clerk's Office on the First Floor of Jackson City Hall.
- Use a contactless drop box located inside the City Clerk's Office.
Photos of these submission methods are included on this page. Please be aware that these options are only for City of Jackson residents. You can look up your voting information by visiting the Secretary of State's website.
