[ARCHIVED] Neighborhood meeting planned on Monday, Sept. 20 to discuss W. Washington Avenue two-way conversion

City Councilmember Laura Dwyer Schlecte is holding a special neighborhood meeting for Jackson’s Fourth Ward on Monday, Sept. 20th at 6:30 p.m.

Property owners on W. Washington Avenue between S. Brown Street and S. West Avenue are invited to attend the meeting to learn about upcoming plans to convert W. Washington from one-way to two-way traffic. The meeting is taking place at Immanuel Lutheran Church, located at 1501 W. Michigan Ave. The church currently requires everyone in the building to wear masks to protect from COVID-19.

Further updates about the conversion project will be communicated to residents when they become available.
