[ARCHIVED] Nixon Water Park expands swim hours for more summer fun

The Nixon Water Park has expanded its hours for more summer fun! General operating hours are now 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. 

Session 1 is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m with a standard admission of $5 per person. The pool will be closed between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Session 2 is 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a standard admission of $3 per person. 

Special prices: 

  • $2 for those ages 50 or older
  • Free for children under 2 years old
  • 10 swim passes can be purchased for $40. This includes two free sessions. 

Local seniors can splash around at the water park Tuesday and Thursdays from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Senior Splash is $2 per session and available to those 50 and older. Seniors can swim, play, or lounge in our heated pool!

The Nixon Water Park is a big part of summer fun in Jackson! The community pool is back open after being closed due to the pandemic. The Nixon Water Park features locker rooms, lounge areas, event space, swimming pool, splash area and water slide. 

There is a free swim session coming up on Wednesday, July 27. Industrial Steel Treating Company is covering the cost of admission for all swimmers. Staff will be enforcing the 250 maximum requirement for safety.
