Residents in Jackson’s First Ward have an upcoming opportunity to meet with their City Council representative and learn the latest news from their neighborhood. City Councilmember Arlene Robinson is holding a neighborhood meeting for Jackson’s First Ward at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center on Thursday, Aug. 4 at 6 p.m.
Councilmember Robinson organized the meeting for residents to learn more about the goals of the MLK Corridor Improvement Authority and get feedback from residents about what improvements they’d like the authority to focus on in the south side neighborhood.
The MLK Center is located at 1107 Adrian St. All Jackson residents are welcome to attend. The First Ward is comprised of Jackson’s south side. Robinson also serves as the City’s Vice Mayor.
