Mayor Daniel Mahoney will deliver his second State of the City Address on Wednesday, March 29. The event starts at 6:00 p.m. and is happening at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center.
This will be the 6th Annual State of the City event in Jackson. Since the event started in 2018, Mayors have used the address to reflect on the City’s accomplishments over the previous year and look toward the future. Elected in Nov. 2021, Mayor Mahoney is currently serving his first term as Mayor of Jackson. This will be his second State of the City Address since taking office.
The State of the City Address is free to attend and open to the public. The event will be live-streamed on the City Facebook page. A recording will be available on the City website following the address. The MLK Recreation Center is located at 1107 Adrian Street in Jackson.
