  2. City Budget Workshop - VIRTUAL MEETING

    A virtual meeting has been planned for the City Council to review the new City of Jackson budget. The virtual Budget Workshop meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 18 at 6:00 p.m. Residents can participate in the meeting through live-streams on the City Facebook page and website. The 2021-22 Fiscal Year City Budget was prepared by the City Manager, and is a comprehensive look at the City’s operating budget over the next fiscal year, which begins July 1, 2021 and goes until June 30, 2022. A link to the proposed budget is available on this page. Residents wanting to submit written comments on the budget may email them to comments@cityofjackson.org. They may also be mailed or placed in the City Hall drop box. Jackson City Hall is located at 161 W. Michigan Ave. Jackson, MI 49201. Written comments will be read aloud during the workshop by the City Clerk. Comments must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18. The council will officially vote on the budget at upcoming meetings.
