Troy R. White, Jackson’s City Engineer, is a Jackson native and a graduate of Jackson High School and Michigan Technological University. Troy gained 10 years of engineering experience in the private sector working for consulting firms in Ann Arbor and Jackson before joining the City Engineering staff in 2005. Since then, he has held various positions and gained experience in design, construction engineering, project management and planning. Troy took the position of City Engineer in 2024.
