Michelle has been employed by the City of Jackson since 2003, beginning in the City Attorney’s Office before moving to the Department of Community Development. Michelle has significant experience with federal rules and regulations, having administered the City’s annual CDBG and HOME allocations since 2008. She currently coordinates and administers all aspects of the City’s Help for Hardest Hit Blight Elimination funding received from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.
