About the Commission 

The Parks and Recreation Commission oversees Parks, Recreation and the Recreation Millage through programs, maintenance and approved events.

The Master Plan will be used as a guiding document through 2028 for City staff to implement improvements to parks and recreation offerings in the City of Jackson. 

Meetings and Agendas

Meetings of the Parks and Recreation Commission are generally organized quarterly at 4:00 p.m. Meetings are held at the same time as the Ella W. Sharp Park Board in the Ella Sharp Park Golf Course Clubhouse at 2800 Fourth St. Jackson, MI 49203.
